The L'Arche Community in Preston has recently opened new accommodation for seven local people with disabilities who want to have their own home. They have turned the old presbytery on Garstang Road into a large house for people with disabilities and assistants who will support them. This has not only brought life and future security to a much loved building but will put people with disabilities at the heart of the community and local neighbourhood.
