Sleepouts are a sponsored event where participants can get an insight into what street homelessness is like for the people who live like that everyday. They are designed to give an idea of what it's like to sleep rough without the risk.

Story

Celine and I are lucky to have always had a roof over our heads, warm beds to get into and supportive, loving families. However many people are not as fortunate and statistics show that 1 in 3 people are only 1-month pay away from losing their home.

We have recently had an insight into some of the clients Turning Tides supports. These people many who are ex veterans, have for one reason or another ended up sofa surfing or sleeping rough on the streets. Turning Tides aims to give each of their clients the support they need whether that is washing their clothes, giving them breakfast, counselling for complex needs or a nights stay as part of their recovery service. The overall aim is to provide rough sleepers with accommodation and move them onto independent living.

We would like to help raise money, awareness and have an understanding of what it is really like to sleep rough for a night.

We are very grateful for any donation you can make.

Thank You
