Ten percent already! Wow!!

Freddie and Amelia have supported Children in Need for many years, raising lots of money in various ways from Recipe Books with contributions from famous people to a Pudsey Wants Talent night with a Race Night, Bingo and Beetle Drive, Best Loved Bear Competition and Cake Sale all squeezed in between!   

This year they are both taking up a personal challenge.

Freddie will be swimming the Channel (all 22 miles of it) at McLaren Leisure Centre and hopes to complete the gruelling 1,770 lengths of the pool in under 3 weeks.  He will be swimming approximately 80 lengths every day (all of them front crawl!!) -  either before school or in his lunch break and at the weekends.

Amelia along with 2 friends, Hazel and Zoe, will each be walking 10 miles on  treadmills - without stopping - which will equate to the length of the River Forth (29 miles).  Thank you to McLaren Leisure Centre for their kind support of the walk.

Thanks to the generous support of friends and family their previous fundraising efforts have totalled over £3,000 for Children in Need and they would like to add lots more to their total this year!
