In the words of our Deputy Head Girl (Charities) "It is now more important than ever that we go the extra mile to help people less fortunate than ourselves."  Charity work and and fundraising is something very close to the heart of the QM Family, and a healthy body and healthy mind is central to a QM education, which is why we've chosen to support York Mind through our 5K Any Way initiative.

5K Any Way was an idea from our Upper Sixth girls and will take place on Saturday 19 September. It will see the QM girls find innovative ways to complete a distance of 5K, be it running, walking, cycling, skipping and even paddle boarding! Whether they complete the 5K at School in their year group bubble, or they at home, all girls are invited to participate and contribute to this whole School event.

Any donation you can make will encourage the girls and raise vital funds for York Mind.Their young people’s counselling service provides a safe place for individuals to explore their feelings and the issues that are affecting their lives.
