Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page.

As part of the 2019 R.Benson Charity Programme, I have committed to getting fit as well as raising money for one of our three nominated charities - BRIGHT Cancer Care, Kids Cancer Charity and SeeAbility. I will be running my first (ever!) Marathon on Sunday 15th September to raise money for a charity close to my heart, SeeAbility.

SeeAbility provide specialist support, accommodation and eye care help for people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss. They not only provide extraordinary support to people but also inspirational encouragement to help each individual believe any goal is reachable and any dream is possible. Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK and has pioneered specialist support for almost 220 years.

Please donate as little or as much as you can to support SeeAbility. I didn't realise how tough training for a Marathon would be or how much it would take over my life!! I really do appreciate everyone's support and I hope to see as many of you as possible on Richmond RUNFEST Marathon Day.

About the charity

SeeAbility provides ambitious social care for people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss. We encourage them to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society - and they in turn challenge us all to think about what’s possible, and to rethink disability.
