Story
Anthony is an NHS worker, he normally spends his days working with the stroke therapies team. Due to health issues and the covid 19 crisis he is currently working from home. He began doing the NHS ‘do what you can challenge’ with monies raised from the challenge going to NHS charities. Anthony decided he also wanted to support Animal Care with this challenge too. The do what you can challenge is for people to set personal goals for their daily excerises. Over the next few weeks he aims to take out an animal Care dog a couple of times a week and total a minimum of 40 miles walking with the dogs. He has started small with a goal of raising £40, a £1per mile. Unfortunately due to the virus animal care have had to shut their charity shops, tea rooms and cancel their annual events and are therefore losing thousands that they would normally be raising. Anthony’s partner works at Animal Care and will be assisting with the challenge to help keep all social distancing measures in place. Every little helps!
