As many of you know, we are both trustees for FOAT, a charity which supports the amazing Amani Centre which helps children with disabilities, their families and communities through community engagement, therapy, outreach, rehabilitation, education and much more --> https://amanitzuk.org/

As a charity, a lot of the support receive comes through fundraising efforts - including runs and sponsored events. These fundraising efforts are crucial to help Amani support the number of children and families who approach Amani for help. Over the past couple of years, these types of fundraising opportunities ceased due to Covid.

There are 15 children living at the centre who do not have financial support. We would love to raise some money to go towards the general funds to allow Amani to continue providing care. The annual cost to support a child at Amani is approximately £240 so anything and everything goes a long way!

We are both running Reading 1/2 marathon and would love to raise as much as possible to go towards Amani. After welcoming our daughter in September 2020, finding opportunities to train is much, much harder but we are going to give it our absolute best shot!

It won't be fast. It won't be pretty. But we're doing it for Amani!
