We are really proud to report that on 14th November 2011 Charley completed his Top Gear Triathlon for BBC Children in Need. He did brilliantly - after a lot of practising along Llandudno Prom, he completed three laps of the Dunsfold Park Top Gear Track - which is 1.75 miles long per circuit - once walking, once on his bicycle and once in his Go Kart. Not only did he complete his challenge but he did it in his fastest time yet - a total of 42 minutes!! 

We would like to thank everybody who sponsored Charley on his challenge, YOU have helped to raise a total of £1,786.50 which is fantastic and more than we could have hoped for in these difficult times.

We are proud to say that Charley has requested to raise money again with a sponsored event for the 2011 BBC Children in Need appeal. This year 6yr old Charley wanted to increase his challenge of last year's 11.5 mile cycle ride and do a mini triathlon to include his new love of Go Karting.

On Tuesday 15th November, Dunsfold Park in Cranleigh, Surrey, (made famous by BBC's Top Gear) has kindly donated a hour's track time for Charley's event. The track is 1.75 miles long and he intends to complete at least three circuits in three disciplines - walking/running, cycling and go-karting - within an hour.

We would be very grateful of your support for Charley and for Children in Need by sponsoring him for this event - he's going to be a very tired boy after all that!!
