Raise for the Roof is made up of Rosie, Dan, Evie, Hannah, Henry, Yasmine, Jenny, Nicola, Virginia and Edisa. We have all chosen to support Crisis because the money we raise will be used very effectively to help the vulnerable people that find themselves homeless and alone on the streets.

Crisis at Christmas is an effective way of contributing to fight to end homelessness: just £26.08 reserves a place for one more person at Crisis at Christmas. Not only does it provide nutritious food and shelter for guests for 9 cold, wintry days whilst we will be tucking into our Xmas dinner, it uses this time to signpost guests to crucial help and services (advice, health, dental, haircut, skills sessions, etc.). Crisis also campaigns throughout the year and supports guests with ongoing projects such as mental health support and drug rehabilitation.

What can the £1500 we raise be used for?

• £1500 = access for 57 homeless people to Crisis’ Christmas services
• £1500 = training and job hunting for 75 homeless people
• £1500 = access to healthcare & counselling for 60 homeless people
