On the 20th of May I will be taking part in the womans 5k...I have also organized a charity night on the 9th of June at "The Braes Bar" on East Kilbride Road!!

All of this is in aid of finding out quite recently my brother Craig age 27 has "Thyroid Cancer" In more recent scans he have come to learn he has had this for a while, The cancer cells have actually spread past his "Lymph Nodes" to his chest. Lucky for my brother his is still at a stage where most of it can be removed through surgery & the rest will be treated through a course of radiation treatment. He certainly wont be the same man after it all & the news has taken its toll on our family....

For this me & my family are looking to raise money for "The Throat Cancer Foundation" They are a wonderful charity who at the moment are aiming to raise awareness of cancers that affect the head, mouth and neck, & to prevent future cases by supporting research into prevention & cure & campaigning for universal HPV vaccination.
