Story

In March 2019 I was diagnosed with womb cancer. After a hysterectomy, I received 6 courses of chemotherapy, 25 of radiotherapy and 2 brachytherapies at the Royal Marsden in Chelsea.

My own experience with cancer left me with an urge to support the amazing work and research that is carried out at Royal Marsden's two London sites in Sutton and Chelsea.

Cancer affects so many of us, and one in two people will get cancer at some point in their life. This is why I raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. They use the money they receive solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre.

We began our ride on 8th August 2021 from Nuorgam, the northernmost point in Finland. Unfortunately, COVID stopped us from starting from Norway as originally planned.

In total, we rode 5,518 kilometres across 6 countries. We hope to raise at least £2,000 but are sure that with your help and generosity can smash this.

Thank you for helping us raise money for such a great cause.
