On March 19th we tragically lost our son Raf.

He was admitted to St Mary's A and E on Saturday night but sadly he got very ill, very quickly and by Sunday evening he needed a bed in the intensive care unit. Sadly there was no space at St Mary's so he had to be moved to the Royal London later that evening. 

While we were waiting to find a bed for him the staff at St Mary's were amazing and did everything they could to help him and make him comfortable - even setting up a 'make-shift ICU' on the children's ward.

We have been genuinely touched by how many people have reached out to us offering support. Instead of flowers we would like to help other families in our situation by raising funds to help support the Intensive Care Unit and the essential work they do there.
