So I finished!!! What an amazing/awesome/tough/challenging experience. Alex and I finished in 5 hours and 43 mins - 11th in our age category, 64th women overall and 221st out of the 875 men and women who started. This was no normal marathon (to give you an idea the first woman crossed the line in 4h 15m and first man in 3h 30.

We had a lot of laughs, a lot of lows and a lot of what the hell are we doing moments but we helped each other through it and am SO happy it’s over! There were a total of 5,164 steps on the wall and a LOT of uphill road running that seemed never ending - running through small villages and high fiving children on the side of the road. An amazing experience to be somewhere so iconic - the views were incredible. I am now safely back in Hong Kong and back to reality.

Thank you SO much to everyone who has sponsored me. We have already raised a staggering £3,091 which means that we have enough to build an Action Club in Praing Village in Cambodia and have almost reached the target to build and equip the playground aswell. This is AMAZING. Thank you thank you SO much for all your generosity to the Adam Cole Foundation. Anything over our target will be used for educational and sporting materials for this club, so if you would still like to donate please feel free! The link to donate is:

Many thanks to you all for your support,

As you may know, I plan to run the Great Wall of China Marathon on 21 May. This is now seeming like a bit of a silly idea, as it says on the website: "The Great Wall Marathon is widely considered one of the world's most challenging marathons" ( if you're interested in reading more). I have been training hard and now it’s getting closer I’m a little nervous!

I am looking for sponsorship in order to keep me motivated! I am raising money for The Adam Cole Foundation which is a charity very close to our hearts as it was set up in memory of Erol's best friend who tragically died ten years ago. Part of the important work the charity does, is through Action Aid in Cambodia and as Asia has been our home now for over three years, I would love to be able to give something back. I am aiming to raise money to help build on the already incredible work the Adam Cole Foundation has done there. To date the Adam Cole Foundation has successfully set up seven Children’s Action Clubs in the Sre Ambel district. If I raise £2,232, we can build another Children’s Action Club in Praing village where they already have 38 members registered but no materials to run the club. If we raise £1,085 we can build and equip a playground. For £529 we can provide sport materials for a club. For £664 we can provide furniture and educational materials for a club. For more information on what they have already achieved in Cambodia please visit:

Please sponsor me here!

I really appreciate any money you can spare and I know it will help spur me on during the monster climb of the Great Wall!
