I have now completed my 100km, 5 day trek across the Sahara desert in Morocco to raise £2500 for the British skin foundation!

It was tough both psychically and mentally but as a team we fought through daily sandstorms, high dunes, mountain climbs, blisters, aches and pains (not to mention wild toilet trips….) and we successfully crossed the finish line on 31st March! I have never been more proud of myself for pushing myself out of my comfort zone and raising money to go towards such an amazing cause. 

My page closes at the end of May, and I am almost at my target! Every penny helps!

💙 109 cases of skin cancer are reported each day - one of the fastest rising cancers in the UK

💙 Yet 80% of skin cancer cases are preventable through education and sun awareness 

As many of you know, I have worked in the skincare industry for over 15 years. In this time I have seen and supported hundreds of people dealing with various life changing skin diseases, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, vitiligo and sadly, skin cancer. 

Having now moved into the healthcare industry I hear from front line workers every day suffering due to the strict hygiene measures and constant hand washing whilst treating patients with other skin concerns. 

The British skin foundation is a charity completely reliant upon donations to fund vital and life saving research not only into skin cancer cures but also into education and awareness. 

I want to help the British skin foundation in their fight.
