In lieu of flowers, Ingrid's family has requested that donations are made to the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre. This wonderful facility in Harrogate supported Ingrid with both cancer treatment and complementary therapies, which Ingrid greatly appreciated.  Ingrid constantly praised the support she received from the staff at the Centre and in 2016 she wrote:

"Endless thanks and praise to the doctors, nurses and support staff who work tirelessly in the NHS, especially my heros on the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Unit.... Quite simply I don't have the words to thank them or tell you how brilliant they are. The unit is beautiful and facilities second to none."

We feel it is a fitting tribute to Ingrid to raise funds for the centre, which provides such excellent treatment and wellbeing services to people affected by cancer.
