As most of you know by now one of our charity shops was broken into Friday evening and £700 stolen from the safe, £200 from the till and the CCTV unit. We struggle to make ends meet and constantly live hand-to-mouth, having to find £20,000 to keep the sanctuary running each month, let alone our two charity shops.

The police are involved but it's unlikely we will get that money back. The locks have been changed costing £90, which is what was raised from shop takings Saturday afternoon, leaving no funds to put in the bank.

If we can raise even half the the funds taken it gives us something to send to Sri Lanka to keep a few bills paid. I appreciate Christmas is just around the corner but even £1 will go some way to help.
