I started running a number of weeks ago, to support my efforts to lose some of my excess waistline. Having never been a runner in the past I was suprised by the enjoyment I get from it and the health benefits are obvious (3s 12lb lighter in 20wks). I run the lincoln park run(5k) most weeks but fancied a bit more of a challenge so it was suggested that the lincoln 10k could bring that challenge, so I thought why not.

The link with L.I.VE.S. comes from the fact we have one of the team in our church and village community, there are many who, literally, have had their lives saved by the invaluable work the L.I.V.E.S. team do.

Linking together the run with fundraising is to keep me on track and also to help raise some vital funds for these wonderful people, please do give generously.
