Fundraising for Neurocare
Story
This is physically the biggest challenge I have ever undertaken
The last bicycle I owned was a chopper back in the 70s
This coast-to-coast bike ride is 170 miles which we are completing 6th,7th,8th October.
My first training bike ride was in April on the HASSOP trial ,15 miles and I could hardly walk for the following two days
Have I any doubt that I will not be able to complete this ? OHHHHHH YES
Here is a great opportunity to support the fundraising for a robot called ROSA which helps with brain surgery
This is a £250,000 appeal and we only have £17,000 left to raise to complete the purchase of this equipment .
Should our team raise more than the £17000 we will ring fence the surplus for other projects Neurocare will fund.
I have been a trustee of Neurocare for 12 years and this will be a great achievement to complete the purchase of this Robot,the most expensive item we have ever purchased.
My wife and 2 very close friends have spent time on the Neuro wards ,it's essential the hospital has the very best equipment and facilities available
You never know who may need the facilities next !
