On 29 June a team of 7 KPMG HR staff will run the Race for Life 2008.      A 5km race in aid of Cancer Research.

The team consists of:

Sophie 'bomber' Ellis, Naomi 'the rocket' Crossman, Jane 'the whippet' Emslie, Fee 'speedy gonzalez' Knight, Angela 'nipper' Katsi, Hayley 'the bullet' Shanks and Shan 'lightning' Nasim...

With each of us bringing varying levels of experience to the race it is sure to be interesting with some sprint finishes and some being forcibly dragged across the finish line!  We many even have to enlist the help of a shopping trolley to transport some! There will be red faces but it will be really worth it to raise some money for such a worthy cause.

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.  With 1 in 3 people being diagnosed with cancer it affects us all.
