Thanks for visiting my Race for Life fundraising page. My friend Heidi has invited me to join her on the Arley Hall Race for Life 5k in July.  Now, I know a 5k run is not quite the marathon that John did last year but my legs are much shorter than his and we all have to start somewhere!

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you could help more people survive cancer.

As have many of you, I have had experience of cancer and know how it can affect family life.  Now that I have just had my third (and last!) baby I want to make sure that my gorgeous kids can face a brighter future with their families - and lose some baby fat along the way (I will literally be shedding fat whilst I run!)  If you feel that you want to help me to sprint rather than waddle to the finish line by sponsoring me a few quid I would be very grateful.
