More than 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is, without a doubt, one of the biggest killers worldwide. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. Half of people diagnosed with cancer now survive their disease for at least five years. However, this is just not good enough. We want to, not only help cure cancer, but also prevent it. Please dig deep and sponsor us online to complete Race for Life. All of your donations will go to Cancer Research UK. Without donations Cancer Research wouldn’t be able to fund its life saving research to prevent, treat and cure cancer.

Team members are as follows, in no particular order: Samantha Hill, Kristen Castle, Vicky Talbot, Donna Hodgson, Gemma Cain, Danielle Price and Natasha Price.

We are running in memory of Susan Price who sadly passed away in 2006 as a result of her battle with breast cancer. We also run in memory of our friend’s sister-in-law Ashley Black who lost her life to ovarian cancer in 2011.  We also run to support those currently fighting cancer. Nikki who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer and Holly who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We wish them all the luck in the world in their fight against cancer, our thoughts go out to them and their families.
