Rachel lost her Mum, Maeve, 2 and a half years ago to cancer and is running this race in her honour. Susie's Mum Teresa is nearing the end of treatment for breast cancer, and her Aunt Penny has recently finished treatment too. Susie (15) is  running this race for them!  Teresa is Rachel's friend, hence the connection between us.
