We support people living with RA and JIA to be able to live the life they want to

Story

We are a group of researchers from the University of Glasgow working on a variety of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. We are taking on the challenge of the Hebridean Cycle Way to raise money for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS). This is a fantastic charity which provides incredible support to people from all around the UK affected by rheumatoid arthritis. We will complete the 185
mile route in 4 days which crosses 10 islands via 6 causeways and 2 ferries. Along the journey, we will be promoting the European League Against Rheumatism's (EULARs) 'Don't Delay Connect Today' campaign to the public which aims to raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis for diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

Our team are passionate about this challenge which will allow us to connect with members of the public in remote areas who may not otherwise get access to campaigns like ‘Don’t Delay Connect Today’. We truly believe this challenge will have a positive impact on all involved and ultimately the money we raise for NRAS will allow them to continue their incredible work which will benefit many people in the years to come. We would love if you could donate in any way you can.
