I am running the British 10K on 25th July 2021 (this summer) to raise money for this wonderful charity. Penniwells gives disabled people the opportunity to ride and empower them, tailoring everything to their needs and goals not matter how big or small. The benefits range from improving their wellbeing to having a high therapeutic value, and having the ability to change lives. Everything they do is done with care and compassion, able to make a huge difference to lives, which I have seen first hand as a volunteer and rider. 

The instructors work closely with physiotherapists and other health professionals to encourage every individual to aim for attainable goals – some modest, others far more ambitious. While competition plays a healthy role in RDA activities, their main focus is to ensure that all their riders gain maximum benefit from a positive and enjoyable form of exercise.

Through the pandemic they have been working incredibly hard to keep this incredible charity going. They were really struggling, so much that  they were on the brink of closing. By supporting them, you will be helping them to continue offering this wonderful opportunity for disabled people! They are a less prominent charity and work in ways that are perhaps lesser known and appreciated but this does not sufficiently reflect or give tribute to the amazing work that they do! They are an inspiration to me and to all those who have experienced what they have to offer.
