In March 2015 I was diagnosed with B cell, high grade lymphoma. 

R-CHOP chemotherapy was prescribed. Six treatments,  one every three weeks. My journey through the following months was guided by a wonderful, young doctor and her team of nurses whose reassuring, comforting, professional care gave me the confidence to believe that I could get through this episode in my life.

Other than losing most of my hair and moustache and the occasional nausea, my treatment went very well and was completed successfully. A PET scan at Cheltenham revealed that the cancer had been eradicated. 

I can never repay the debt that I owe these people but I can, with a lot of support from my friends and family, help to fund the building of the fantastic new cancer centre at RUH.
