We are StreetInvest, an international NGO to improve the lives of street children

Charity Registration No. 1127206

Community is the heart of what we do at Richmond Cycles so taking our love of cycling and cycling with shop friends, for a local charity, that help children who desperately need support felt like the right thing to do. But we never do it the easy way - Richmond riders, lead by shop owner Richard Roberts,  are taking on two big rides which will cover over 600km.

Any and all sponsorship gratefully received. Whether you donate on this page or drop in to the shop and hand over some cash in exchange for a coffee, every penny counts. THANK YOU!

CHALLENGE #1 Richmond2Richmond - COMPLETE!!

That's Richmond in Yorkshire to Richmond upon Thames. On July 5/6/7th we will take on the 311miles and too many climbs to mention, back to the shop for a 5pm welcome home.

Taking part in Prudential Ride London 2019 on 3/4th August - 100miles taking in the London - Surrey route made famous in the 2012 Olympics

For tens of millions of children around the world, the 'street' is a huge part of their lives. These street children routinely experience sexual and physical abuse, are cast out from their communities and are denied the right to education, basic care, and a voice.

StreetInvest’s’ vision is for a trustworthy adult in the life of every street child. Together we are helping street-connected children to grow and develop so that they can reach their potential, and reduce the abuse and discrimination that they suffer. We promote and support a distinct form of youth work called Street Work, which can be the first step to positive change in a young person’s life.
