As a keen sailor I have always looked for events that are a challenge and add that edge of excitement. This year is SolutionsPT 25^th anniversary and we have all been looking for ways of raising money for our chosen charities.

After various discussions in the office members from SolutionsPT have teamed up with the Helsby running club forming a team of 5 to compete in the 3 PEAKS YATCH RACE. Our team is called the Silver Sufers, something todo with our age I was told. Our team John Bailey,Phil Gillard, Jackie Keasley, Trevor Murphy, Richard Stone.

Many of you may have heard of the 3 peaks race where you run up and down Scarfell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis, but this event has an added difficulty.  We have to sail between the 3 mountains, including travelling from the coast to the base of the mountains by bike. The team will sail 389 miles with our runners completing the 3 peaks, three marathons in three to five days.

We start on the 19^th of June (Saturday) from Barmouth and hope to ensure we are at the finish on Thursday night for the ‘finishers’ party, hopefully we will get there !

We have got seas, racing tides, darkness, whirlpools, Maintains and the weather to negotiate, so your support is welcomed  to help us along the way.
