Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page

On Friday 27th February I successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro. Whilst the trip was fully self funded it was always my intention to raise money for a worth charity, however due to the high risks of altitude sickness that could prevent me from reaching the summit I decided not to ask for any sponsorship up front. As I am also running this years London Marathon I was reluctant to ask friends and colleagues to sponsor me twice. So with this in mind I decided to join the two challenges together and raise money for the Shooting Stars Children’s Hospice.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Shooting Star Children's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Remember - every penny raised goes directly to the charity as I have funded the entire cost of the events myself. So please sponsor me now!

Thanks in advance

Richard
