Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

This is going to be a crazy adventure, driving the length of India in a motorised rickshaw. Beginning in Cochin, South India, and supposedly arriving in Darjeeling in the foothills of the Himalayas two weeks (hopefully?!) later. This is a mammoth task, and we're not totally sure if it's possible in the time bracket we have - there's only one sure way to find out - gentlemen, start your engines.....

For more information on the event, please check out the official website,

                                             www.rickshawrun.com

or email us at                 rickshawrunners@hotmail.co.uk

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Mercy Corps Scotland will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. This is all for a great cause, once we reach Darjeeling, we will get the rickshaws fixed up to brand-spanking new condition, and donate it to a local, poverty stricken family, making a positive difference to their way of life forever. Any money raised over our initial target will go towards MercyCorps, in order to help them with their fantastic projects in the Darjeeling area, and throughout India.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Matt Dickens and Claire Andrews.
