In Sam's words:

In December last year, I was told my Grandad had prostate cancer. I was really scared and afraid. But he was too. He went back and forth to the Hospital, each time looking more afraid and ill. 

In February, with the support of my family and the Men United group within Prostate Cancer UK, he had his operation. He was fragile but looking happy and content. And recently he has been given the all clear.

He is now much better and is back to normal, playing golf! He has also been elected as President of Whitchurch Golf Club, Cardiff, which is a huge boost for him. 

With my other Grandad, starting on August 3rd 2015, for 7 consecutive days we will be doing 10 miles a day around Cardiff. This bike ride is to raise money for the Men United Group to support other men in the way that my Grandad was supported so well.
