Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

For those that know us know that myself and my wife Becki recently celebrated the birth of our 4th son called Tommy.

He was born on 27/06/17 weighing 4lb 2.5oz. Unfortunately at 5 days old, Little Tommy contracted Sepsis and ultimately went into septic shock. Despite putting up a strong fight the infection took over and Tommy lost his fight at only 6 days old, and unfortunately passed away on the 3rd July 2017.

So to honour our sons life, and to help research the infection so that it never happens again to anyone. Myself, Becki and a few friends will ride 10 miles for every hour of life Tommy's life.

This will equate to 1250 miles over 10 days.

We are raising money so Sepsis UK can ensure this awful heartbreaking tragedy never happens again to a newborn or anyone else for that matter.

Please help us raise as much as possable and thank you for your donations.
