I think it is my fault that the four of us are trying to fit in as much training as we can between the snow, rain, work, play and everything else that needs done at the moment!

At some point during the winter I came up with this crazy idea of the four of us entering a team in the Hairy Haggis Marathon. It seemed an easy enough task to train for each leg when we discussed it so many months ago, but suddenly the date is looming and the realisation of what needs to be done is sinking in.

we are raising money for SANDS Lothians which is a charity that offers support and help to bereaved parents who have experienced the death of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or soon after birth.

This is a charity which is close to my heart, as those of you who know me well will know that Aileen and I had reason to call on their help when in 2006 we lost our twin Girls Eve and Reagan shortly after they were born.

I am very greatful to Chris, Darren and Lee for agreeing to help me support this cause, and I hope that you will feel able to make a donation to help us raise much needed funds for what is a very helpful but under publicised service.
