Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday, 8 September, I shall again be participating in this annual fund-raising event.  In previous years, your support to me and my fellow walkers has been quite amazing, and St Mary’s has consistently been among the top contributors to GHCT through the Ride & Stride - and, of course, a beneficiary too. It had been the intention to walk around the churches of Cirencester and Stroud, but illness in the team has sadly intervened, ruling out any significant walking for at least one of us.  We shall instead be taking advantage of the recently introduced dispensation and visiting a number of remote rural churches by car.  There may, however, still be opportunity for some walking between churches for those of us who are able.

I well know how many excellent causes there are out there, but whatever you can spare for this one will be very gratefully received. 50% of the money raised (plus all Gift Aid) will go to GHCT and 50% to my own church, St Mary the Virgin, Great Witcombe.

More information about GHCT may be found at www.ghct.org.uk and about Ride & Stride in particular at www.ghct.org.uk/ride-and-stride/ . The County “Ride and Stride” Organizer may be contacted on rideandstride@ghct.org.uk or 01452 538271.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. And, if you are a UK tax-payer, don't forget to add Gift Aid.
