Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am Rosie Bear, the much loved teddy bear of Rosemary an MND (ALS) sufferer who died at the end of November 2016.  Since then I have been on (self-funded) adventures in the UK and abroad to raise awareness of this dreadful disease.  

I have raised funds for the MND Association by taking part in challenges: an Iceland Trek in 2017, the Silverstone Half Marathon, the Gung-Ho challenge, two Quarter Action Challenge Ultra Walks, local sponsored walks, the 2.6/2020 Challenge, the 2020 Big Steps of Hope Challenge, the 2022 #giveitup challenge where we gave up sugary things (cakes, biscuits, sweets and my favourite - honey!) and I've just completed the 7 in 7 Challenge, walking 7,777 steps a day for 7 days.

Lastly I raise funds on eBay selling, toys, books, puzzles, cuddly toys and donated items. 

Having reached the target, I will be resting my paws and retiring at the end of 2023. Just one more fundraising event on Saturday 25th November, see post below.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Half the  funds donated go to the MND Association national fund and half go to the local East Dorset and New Forest branch to help local sufferers and their families.
