The RTUK2020 event over in our Discord server has been and gone, but do please still donate to support.

We weren't going to let a mere global pandemic stop us from raising funds for SpecialEffect, so in 2020 we’re taking our big annual RTUK event online!

As in previous years, we are raising funds for SpecialEffect (https://www.specialeffect.org.uk/)
(IMPORTANT: This is our first ever online event, and whilst all our volunteers are working hard to ensure that it all works as seamlessly as possible, there may yet be teething troubles. In the event that things go completely wrong (e.g. Discord servers going down etc) we apologise but we will not be able to offer to refund any donations made through this page. Please be aware that the relatively small cost of £5 will make a huge difference to such an amazingly good cause.
So how do you register? After making your donation, you should receive a donation receipt through your email. You will need to join the RTUK Discord server (link above), go to the [rtuk-2020-registration] channel and follow the instructions in the pinned message. One of our community admin group will then grant you the relevant channel access (please allow 24hours).
If you need multiple tickets, donate in a multiple of £5 (e.g. £15 will get you access for 3 people). Everyone will of course need to be a member on the server, and you should include their Discord IDs when you upload the donation receipt. They will then be given the necessary event role.
So what can you expect at the event?...
Well we’re planning the usual mix of social and mayhem;
Just chill out and text chat with friends in our music rooms.

Places are extremely limited so will be offered on a first come first served basis. We will run a waiting list, so anyone not turning up to their game in good time will have their slot reallocated to someone else!).
Gaming (XBONE, PS4, Switch, PC) including exclusive access to the Special Effect Animal Crossing island, fishing competition and RTUK in game t-shirt.

Chef Mike (yes, THE Chef Mike of Hardcore Minigolf) has kindly offered to record us an exclusive video a prerecorded Q&A to answer community questions. He's been sent the questions, so hopefully if technology favours us, turn up and here his answers on Saturday afternoon!
