Story
Aslamalaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatooh everyone. In'shaa'Allah you're having a good day ! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My grandmother had the kindest most loving heart. She was a firm believer in helping others. On the 25th of June , Allah took her to a better place and therefore In her loving memory, I will be doing a sponsored walk from Tooting Broadway to Hyde park and back on the 28th Of July.
That's approximately 12 miles walking distance which will take up to 6 hours. This is the average distance women in Africa and Asia walk to collect water for their families everyday. They roughly collect 20kg (the equivalent weight to the average airport baggage allowance) of water which is then transported back via hand or balanced upon their heads.
Alhamdulillah we are all very fortunate to be able to break our fasts with a fufilling glass of clean water however millions are denied this simple right.
So please donate to this cause, every penny can help make a difference and all the donations given will go to Pump aid, a charity that installs water pumps for thousands of poverty stricken families in rural communities.
