Ruby's Sponsored Hair Donation
My name is Ruby Mansell. I aim to donate most of my hair and to also raise the £550 that will be required to transform it into a wig for 'The Little Princess Trust' (June to 25th July, 2019).
I am 11 years old and I have never had my hair cut, apart from the odd split ends. I have decided to do a charity hair cut on Friday 19th July and intend to donate my hair (23 inches) to make a wig for a child recovering from Cancer for 'The Little Princess Trust'
I have been inspired to do this as several members of my family have had cancer and I have been touched by how they have dealt with it. This made me determined to help raise the money and donate my hair. I hope to make one child, that is going through the fight against Cancer and hair-loss to feel better and be happy. I hope that my hair can help them have one less thing to worry about.
Whether you donate a little or a lot, anything helps. Can you please sponsor me and donate so that The Little Princess Trust can grant such a lovely gift.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and supporting me in this effort. I have included some information about the cause below.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
