I will be running the distance from my family home in Aberdeen, to Tannadice Park, Dundee. This will total 104km and will involve me going out running in Aberdeen on consecutive days, in order to total 104km! I will aim to complete this in the least amount of days as possible. All Runs will be monitored and tracked!

As you will all be aware the Covid-19 situation has took its toll on various charities and businesses. Dundee United Community Trust is a charity which unfortunately is one of them. Being an employee myself, I see first hand how much work goes into providing various positive opportunities to the people of Dundee. 

Dundee United Community Trust exists to improve the lives of people in Dundee and the surrounding areas. Our vision is to be the most innovative and impactful Community Trust of its kind in Scotland, recognised as a key player in sport and community development locally and a strong example of best practice in Sport for Change.

I personally will be running in order to be able to fund and improve the newly established Dundee United Girls Academy. This was introduced last year and is one I work directly with. Every single one of the players have been working hard over this break and the attitude shown is incredible! The money raised will help to target the financial strain that Covid-19 has put upon the charity and also give projects, like the Dundee United Girls Academy, the equipment and kit that they deserve. 

The money will be split between various other projects over Dundee United Community Trust to help allow us to provide the best support we can on return! The money will have a massive impact in allowing the charity to carry on providing services to people of Dundee whether it is Education Work, Para-Football, Tiny Tangerines, Walking Football and much more.
