A year ago I thought I wouldn't be able to complete anymore wild adventures, but now things are looking great - so I'm back training for the charity challenges.
I hated running with a passion until I was told to avoid cardio ;) ... and now I love it! The 'running bug' really is a thing. I only started in June and needed a goal to focus on.
The Hedgehog Hospital is truly struggling to keep up with the financial pressures on it everyday. We rescue over 800 hedgehogs a year, and our staff are true angels - but SWCC needs lots and lots more ££ to keep it open.
Tiger conservation has long been my passion and I made a promise to the TPCU (Tiger Protection and Conservation Units) in Sumatra that I would always do what I could to raise funds for their sensational thankless work in the jungle.
So ... a marathon. I have booked the Wimpole Estate half in October and then the Brighton Marathon in April - who knows if i'll succeed - but I promise your sponsorship will be going to two fabulous causes ;)
Thank you for anything you can offer - it is as always gratefully received by all involved in our charity xx
