In November 2018 we travelled to Wallacedene township in Cape Town with many other volunteers to help build 2 schools as part of the Mellon Educate Building Blitz. At the Enkululekweni Primary School, we built 2 classrooms, a kitchen, a covered shelter and a playground. At the Hector Peterson High School, we will build 12 classrooms, a kitchen, toilet block, covered shelter, outdoor gym and 2 sports fields.

In November of this year, Mellon are sending another group of volunteers to South Africa to build new facilities for another two schools and we want to raise as much money as possible to make this happen.
