Vasculitis can range from a minor problem that just affects the skin, to a more serious illness that causes problems with organs such as the heart or kidneys. 

My mum Julie Thomsett has been suffering on a day to day basis for the last 2 years with, high temperatures (fever), muscle and joint pain, tiredness/fatigued and migraines. Not forgetting the regular check ups!

My caring mum use to be a fit slim active positive women but now due to this disease and medication she has taken a knock back and finds it very hard to stay positive and active.

As her son seeing this is very hard. So, without boring you with stories I feel the need to support my mum through this by running the marathon. I will be training hard through the British winter weather, which will be hard work but knowing I will have your support and your generosity through out it will maintain my positivity and commitment!!
