We did it!!!! The atmosphere was amazing, electric and I'm still on a high! It was tougher than it has been in training, combination of heat, unfamiliar route and uphill.... that was a killer running past old Trafford  football ground! I had to stop a few times but every time I did, I thought of your support, your messages, your sponsorship and my poor dad at the finish line with Kai and his friend who were probably tired from waiting around! I felt proud running in my Cancer Research UK vest with my name on it, good to hear random strangers shouting "Go Sabrina" along the route. Oh and I probably lost a min by running through the shower..... I needed it to cool me down! Thank you so much - we've raised £544.95 for Cancer Research UK. Oh and a PB of 1hr 10 mins, i'm aiming for a sub 60 next year..... 59 mins 50 secs will do ;o) xxx

OK, well the event is almost upon us and I just wanted to thank you all for your tremendous support. Together, we have raised £534.95 for Cancer Research UK! So thank you, sending big hugs your way! Your witty and inspirational comments are keeping me positive and I'm just so excited about taking part in this event.

£395 raised so far - overwhelming and equally motivating! As I went out on my practice run yesterday morning (28/04/2013), I did think of you all and how supportive you have been. I also thought about my friend's mum who sadly passed away at the weekend due to cancer - if detected earlier, maybe, just maybe she'd still be here. So, thank you everyone, this money goes towards beating cancer!

With 4 weeks to go, I've tried on my running vest and the good news is that it fits! My race number has arrived along with the tagging device - I guess that means I'm ready :o)

Busy week ahead so it's a 10K practice run tomorrow before my trip to Barcelona!
