After failing to gain entry to the 2017 London Marathon via public ballot, I was asked by a friend and colleague if I could run for the burns unit as part of the Mid Essex Hospitals Trust Charities Foundation.

 This is a charity that is close to the hearts of many of my colleagues and friends and I said would be honoured to run for something that means a lot to them. 

So here we are! Please give generously, as I am sure everyone is aware burns and burn related injuries are a horrific and life-altering experience that no one should have to go through, yet so many do and in the most tragic cases these injuries can result in loss of life. 

This is an extremely painful time both physically and emotionally for the victim and their family/loved ones. Mid Essex Hospitals Trust aims to provide the best possible care and treatment for patients and families alike; and your donation(s) will assist in the development of the burns unit and its staff in order to keep this going!
