As most of you are aware I started charity work after my daughter Maryam Ahmed stated she wanted to help the most needy in Africa.

After her passing in 2017 we have achieved so much Alhumdulilah, so why stop? Lets continue to donate and gain the rewards. If a young soul at the age of 7 could utter such beautiful words then me and you should be able to do more. 

Inshallah I will be travelling back to Africa for the third time in April 2023. I will be visiting the masjid & water well that was built with your donations, In the loving memory of my beautiful daughter Maryam Ahmed. Inshallah the masjid will be fully completed before my visit. While in Africa I’m hoping to leave Quran at the masjid (120 Quran at £5 each) donating footwear (£2-£5 a pair) to the locals, leaving lotas (£1-£2) in the toilets built next to the masjid, leaving approx 4-6 sewing machines (£100 each) allowing locals to fix and sew clothes. I am also hoping to leave some bikes (£50 each) to allow ease of travel for the locals. Inshallah if we raise enough we can leave some livestock like goats (£50 each) chickens (£5-£10 each) and plant a variety of fruit trees(£5 each) the whole project will cost approx £2500 - £3000. Your donations will offer the village a way to self sustain themselves and in return this will be a means of sadaqah jariyah (on going rewards) for you and your loved ones.

You have always been here to support my projects and like always you will inshallah get feedback. I try my best to ensure all projects that I commit to are sadaqah jariyah (ongoing rewards throughout our lives in this world, as well as in the Hereafter)

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)

I will also like to add when I do travel to Africa this is paid by myself. All donations are contributed to projects stated. 

May the almighty reward you immensely for getting involved with all my projects, without your support and donations I could have never fulfilled my daughter Maryam’s last wish. You are all not only my duas but also the duas of those who you are providing for.
