Update

Samantha Birtles, a beautiful and lovely friend sadly passed in July of this year,  after fighting so hard with this condition.

Samantha kindly shared her story so that others would be able to look for the signs that could be fundamental for recognising this hidden disease.

We have raised just over £14000 for Treetops so far,  which is an amazing amount. Thank you for donating. 

It would be lovely with Christmas coming up, to raise further donations in memory of Samantha and for those loved ones we have lost and to help a fantastic charity start the new year with a generous donation.

My beautiful and lovely friend Samantha Birtles (keating) is living with Pancreatic Cancer , she has totally blown me away on how she has been coping with this, she has been amazingly strong , courageous but still thinking of others and their well being whilst dealing with this diagnosis.

I am asking those who would love to take part by way of walking ,  it can be  a few steps a day, a 2 mile walk , around the garden or a room if your isolating , take photos and post them on face book so Samantha can see what we’re doing , or send best wishes or donate or do all 3.

The aim is to walk up to 20 miles by the end of February. I have completed 45 miles and I’m just going to keep walking now. This page is now on the treetops hospice page and I am keeping this open as there are many more events that we’re planning when lockdown has
