We are helping families in northern Ghana to keep children healthy, safe & in school

Story

The rivalry is as old as they are- from Skipit races in Mount Scar playground, to vying for who would be House and who would be Vice captain of Knitson House in Swanage Middle.

From who could snog the most inappropriate boy at youth club disco to who could choose to go to LSE for the most sensible reason (Sally because she liked the sandals a girl wore on the Open Day, Jess because Sally had done the research re sandals).

To who could join the worst named university sports team (Beavers Women’s Football for Jess, LUST swim team for Sally) to who could make the best Cappuccino at Moonbow Jakes.

And finally to top it all, on one autumn day last year, to screams of “get me more f***ing drugs” at either end of the country, they gave birth to bonny baby boys on the same day, but which one will be best?.

You might think they’d now be content to leave it to the next generation to fight it out but no, in 2017 they’ll take on the greatest challenge yet in the freezing waters of beautiful lake Windermere.

We’ll be trying to complete the 1 mile open water Great North Swim in June 2017 and we’re doing it for the awesome, fantastic AfriKids who are working their socks off every day to make real change in Northern Ghana. Please help us pay tribute to that work by sponsoring us loads of money!
