I was not expecting to undertake another fundraising challenge this year,  but Covid-19 is having an enormous financial impact on our small charity. Most of our income comes from organised fundraising events, but with the UK in lockdown it has been necessary to cancel them. We receive no Government funding, and are not eligible for the financial assistance which is being made to some other charities. 

This coincides with the busiest period we have ever seen, as patients contact our Helpline services in unprecedented numbers, seeking support, information and reassurance. Many of us are at increased risk from the virus, and cannot access help anywhere else.

Personally as a patient myself I have been self-isolating since early March, only going out for a daily walk with my husband and daughter. So, having walked 451.6 K (280 miles) since 2nd March, we have decided to complete 1407K (874 miles),  representing the distance from LAND'S END to JOHN O GROATS.

We realise that this is a difficult  time for everyone,  but. PLEASE could you spare just a few pounds to help keep our charity in business, so we  can still be here for pituitary patients and their families.
