My name is Sherene and I lost my dad to Suicide in 2001. I was only 12 at the time and had no support or professional help to cope and recover. Self-help is what got me through.
Seventeen years on, I am now 29 and on a mission to stay sane and help others do the same. I am campaigning to break the stigma of mental health and suicide to help more people get the help they need I am also campaigning to help those bereaved by suicide, so that more people can access adequate support. Once loosing someone to suicide, you are at higher risk of death by suicide. http://onitshead.co.uk/
I am raising money for Samaritans because the work they do is amazing and I only wish my dad had been in touch with them before taking his own life.

On 1st September 2018, I will be running an event in Luton, Bedfordshire and hope to raise lots of funds on the night in aid of Samaritans.
I am also running the Love Luton 10k on 28.10.18.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and all of the proceeds go directly to Samaritans.
