Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I first heard about this challenge a few months ago and put it to the back of my mind as something I’d love to do, but probably never would.
As friends around me have started to build young families of their own I have come to realise how fortunate we are with the level of neonatal care we receive in the UK. I decided I wanted to help.
And so the challenge – 1500km over 11 days riding, several tough mountain passes to climb and in heat upwards of 30 degrees. It’s going to be tough.
The journey finishes at Da Nang Hospital for Women and Children, where the riders will meet the doctors, nurses and families whose lives are being changed directly through our fundraising.
Corporate sponsors cover the cost of the trip, so every penny you donate will go directly to fund the training of neonatal nurses and basic life-saving equipment in Vietnam.
Thanks for anything you can offer, and please dig deep!
