My name is Samuel Burns and I am a keen cyclist.....which I promise is nothing to do with the lycra, honest!

I have committed to a ride in aid of Prostate Cancer UK in June 2018 called Football to Amsterdam. I will ride approximately 200 miles over two days, finishing at the world-famous Ajax FC’s Johan Cruijff Stadium. 

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men.  Every hour one man dies from prostate cancer – that’s more than 47,000 men every year.  1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime, and the statistics are even more alarming for black men with 1 in 4 contracting the disease in their lifetime.  Ignoring prostate cancer won’t beat it.  Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer.
